Climate
Hot and dry whether during six summer months, humid and mild winters are characteristic
of the Mediterranean climate of Greece. From April to September, in the south
and in the centre of Greece, there are no rainfalls. First by the end of the
summer, short but quite intensive rainfalls appear and after that the whether
becomes steady. There is much rainfall in January and February. Spring in Greece
comes gradually from the south and coast to the direction of mountains. The
best months for a trip to Greece are May and June, when there are no serious
heats. Average temperatures at that time range between 25 - 30°C. In the
full summer they amount to 35°C during a day and even 22°C at night
in average. The warmest water is in August and September and their average temperature
amounts to 25°C.
